Two $6000 lump sum scholarships are awarded each year for research or postgraduate education support.  Applications are always open and one scholarship is awarded every six months.

To apply for this scholarship you will:

​

• be a New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency

• hold New Zealand medical registration

• have a commitment to the Taranaki medical community and the intention to stay in the region, or return after training.

• be a registered financial member of TMF.

NB: This scholarship can be applied for multiple times, but once awarded to an individual twice no further applications will be accepted for two years.
