CME Session Overview
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most commonly referred neurodevelopmental conditions seen in primary care, paediatric, and mental health services. Demand for assessment continues to rise, placing pressure on clinicians, families, and health systems.
This presentation will explore how digital technologies are transforming ADHD assessment and supporting clinical decision-making. Drawing on his experience in clinical practice, research, and digital health innovation, Dr Doron will discuss the role of objective assessment tools, computerised testing, video-based assessment, and emerging technologies in improving diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
The session will also provide insight into the development of the Executive Function Assessment (EfA), a Taranaki Medical Foundation-supported research project aimed at creating more accessible and scalable approaches to ADHD assessment.
